About me

 Creating for me is always a way of learning from myself but above all from the world, from the people around me. This is why I disagree with the stereotype of the “introverted artist, ” stating that we make art to escape the real world. Somehow, the intention of my creation is precisely to bring me closer to the world. Drawing, as I said, helps me to express myself, and therefore to communicate with this external universe, which my great curiosity pushes me to observe.

 Inspiration is not a linear phenomenon: seeing something can inspire in a general way, not specifically to represent this “thing” but purely to take a pen and a notebook in hand… So in addition to portraits, naturally having for model of real people, and architectural drawings made from authentic buildings, my creations share some inspirations and subtle references, such as the aesthetic of the sublime.

 Over time, the desire to make my thoughts and my creations a little more public invaded me, I started to take orders, give classes and I published my first fanzine, which you can find in below.
